All of GMAC's film making equipment will cost 30% less during our Summer blockbuster.
Please see our Equipment Rate Card (pdf). All equipment hires require a Membership. Membership is available at GMAC for £45 per annum, this includes 12 months insurance for hiring our equipment along with many other perks including FREE ENTRY to Café Flicker and special events.
Equipment offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.
Equipment Hire
GMAC has a range of audio / visual equipment available for hire. Membership is required for all equipment hires and is charged at £45 per year. All equipment comes with insurance within the UK and Europe. For a full list of available equipment, please see our Equipment Rate Card (pdf).

Bookings do not have to made in advance, although to ensure availability it is recommended.
Standard Definition Cameras
Sony DSR-PD150
The PD-150 offers both mini-DV and DVCAM recording, dual XLR audio inputs with a mono short shotgun microphone, black and white viewfinder, a settable time code, a sharpness and color saturation level. It was used by director David Lynch to film Inland Empire.

Canon XL1
The Canon XL-1 is a Three-CCD Standard Definition Digital Video camcorder. The XL-1 has many features of a high-end camera such as interchangeable lenses, viewfinder, and XLR inputs. The camera has been used to make studio films such as Full Frontal and 28 Days Later.

Panasonic AG-DVX100
The Panasonic AG-DVX100 was the first affordable digital progressive scan camcorder. The camera is popular amongst television studios and is popular with independent film makers because of its many film emulating features and has a large following.
Many documentaries, independent shorts, and feature films have been shot with the DVX100, including A Scanner Darkly that was also shot using the DVX100, but processed through Rotoshop to give it a more "animated" feel.
